Terms of Use

Effective October 8, 2026

These terms cover your use of The Pet Parent app and thepetparent.app. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Your account

You need a free account to use the app. Keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.

Subscriptions and free trial

Family sharing

The account owner’s subscription covers their puppy’s family space. People you invite use their own free accounts and don’t pay. If the owner’s subscription ends, the space becomes read-only for everyone until it’s renewed; nothing is deleted.

Your content

The care moments, records, photos, and notes you add belong to you. You give us permission to store and sync them only so the app can work for you and the people you invite. You can export or delete your data at any time, as described in our Privacy notice.

Please don’t upload anything unlawful or anything you don’t have the right to share.

Not veterinary advice

The app helps you keep track of care. It does not provide medical or veterinary advice. Routines are editable examples. Always follow your veterinarian’s guidance, and contact them or an emergency clinic if your pet may be unwell.

Changes and availability

We may update the app and these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. We work to keep the app available, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is”, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Apple

If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app.
